The Iritano Family Album
The Iritanos—Bob and Karen, and their children Kevin, Katie, Gina and Michael—are pretty much a normal American family. Except Bob has terminal cancer.
LA Times columnist and SoCal Connected correspondent David Lazarus reports this week on the Iritanos' battle with their health insurance company over getting treatment doctors say won't save Bob's life, but could well prolong it.
In the process of telling their story, producer Angela Shelley obtained a stack of the Iritano's family photos, and thought our viewers would be interested in seeing some of them.
