It is hosted by 16-time Emmy award winner, Val Zavala. "SoCal Connected" airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. KCET is the nation’s largest independent public television station.

Urban Coyotes, Beekeeping, the Art of Taxidermy

There is a growing awareness and concern about coyotes in Southern California. Many residents are concerned that their pets and even toddlers could be hurt or killed by coyotes. 

For the first time in more than a century, the Los Angeles City Council officially legalized urban beekeeping in single family homes in October 2015.
