A Project to Heal and Transform Crenshaw Community | June 15

On the June 15 episode of “SoCal Update,” the Crenshaw neighborhood is undergoing a massive revitalization. Jason Foster, chief operating officer of Destination Crenshaw, shares more about a cultural infrastructure project to heal and transform the community with pocket parks, streetscapes, programming spaces and public art. The goal is to fight the cultural erasure and displacement that is common when projects of the scale of Metro’s Crenshaw/LAX Rail Line break ground in Los Angeles neighborhoods.
