SoCal Update

On the March 23 episode of “SoCal Update,” we see how the California State University system is in the process of ramping up cybersecurity at its 23 campuses after hackers stole student and employee data at three California campuses last year. KPCC Higher Education Reporter Adolfo Guzman-Lopez gives us the details.

The university system has hired a firm to look at security gaps and is pushing campuses to have all students and employees signed on to two-factor authentication by the end of the year.
