On the March 18 episode of "SoCal Update," an annual survey found that 1 billion consumers globally subscribe to a streaming service. KPCC Arts and Entertainment reporter John Horn walks us through more of the study's key findings.

Since we all stayed home, the number of movie ticket sales in North America plummeted to one billion fewer admissions than the year before. Box office revenue similarly plunged by 80%.
