Caregivers of People With Disabilities Turned Away From Vaccines | Feb. 10

On the Feb. 10 episode of SoCal Update, KPCC Health Reporter Jackie Fortier discusses the challenges an approved group of health workers is encountering in getting the COVID-19 vaccine. The California Department of Developmental Services has deemed parents and caregivers of people with disabilities who are at high risk of COVID-19 complications qualify for the vaccine. But many of them are being turned away at vaccine sites.
