Southland Sessions Presents: From high school operas and drive-thru art exhibitions to Chicano comedies and underground DJ sets—we are showcasing the vibrancy of arts and culture across our city today.

Challenging students to view and interact with their surroundings in new, creative ways is an important goal for the Heidi Duckler Dance (HDD) education residency program. HDD teaching artists try to activate participants’ minds and bodies through site-specific education and performance, enabling students from different schools, such as St. Mary's Academy, to take part in creative experiences in their own neighborhoods.
