Stand Up Planet: South Africa (Part 1)
White people have been doing stand-up comedy in South Africa for decades, but it wasn't until after apartheid ended in 1994 that black comics got their shot. In this chapter, Hasan meets Loyiso Gola, a comedian and satirist who is considered South Africa's answer to Jon Stewart. Together they go from the shantytowns of Alexandra to the mansions of Hyde Park to comically explore where South Africa stands today.
