Huell takes a special tour of Forrest Ackerman's home, which was a shrine to and museum of horror memorabilia. The self-described coiner of the term "sci-fi," Dr. Ackula (as he liked to be called) boasted over 300,000 collectibles from books, genre films, and TV shows. He was also a literary agent and editor of numerous fanzines. Sadly, Ackerman passed away in 2008 so the museum is no longer operational.
Porto’s Bakery in Glendale is a family-owned and operated business with roots in Cuba. Join Huell as he samples Cuban sandwiches, guava pastries and decadent cakes.
