And to boot, some sad irony. Today is Yosemite National Park's 123rd birthday, something Google is celebrating on its homepage with its popular doodles.

 

IRONY: The new Google Doodle celebrates the 123rd anniversary of the park's founding at the same exact time the Government Shutdown closes it to the public.
