'Before You Know It' Screens at the 2019 Fall KCET Cinema Series with Filmmakers Utt and Tullock

Following a screening of “Before You Know It,” the filmmakers and co-stars Hannah Pearl Utt and Jen Tullock joined KCET Cinema Series host Pete Hammond for the Q&A.

Hannah Pearl Utt is best known for the digital series, "Disengaged," which she directed for Super Deluxe as co-creator, writer and star alongside Jen Tullock. Their short film, "Partners," premiered at Sundance in 2016. In 2017, Hannah was selected for the inaugural Catalyst Women Initiative and the Sundance Screenwriters and Directors Lab. She is currently in development with Sundance Now for "Sweet Relief, the half-hour dramedy she co-created. In 2018, Hannah was the recipient of the Adrienne Shelley Foundation Women Filmmakers Grant. "Before You Know It" marks Hannah's feature directorial debut.

Jen Tullock received notoriety for her work in the Turner Series "Disengaged," which she wrote and starred in alongside collaborator Hannah Pearl Utt. T.V./film credits include "Casual," Cameron Crowe’s "Roadies," HBO pilot "A Lot," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "SMILF," and Amazon original "Budding Prospects." She can currently be seen with Abbi Jacobson and Dave Franco in Netflix original drama, "6 Balloons," and Hulu original "Door No." She is the award-winning narrator of several New York Times best-selling audiobooks and the voice of the title character in the Emmy award winning short, "Henry." As a playwright her work has been featured onstage at The New York Stage & Film Festival.
