Producer Jonathan King is Participant Media’s President of Narrative Film & Television, managing the development and production of the company’s 17 narrative feature films and television projects. Since 2007, King has built a robust film slate including the 2016 Academy Award® Best Picture winner "Spotlight," the 2018 Academy Award Best Foreign Language Film winner "A Fantastic Woman," last year’s sleeper hit "Wonder," as well as "Lincoln," "The Help," "Contagion" and "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel." Additionally under King’s leadership, Participant’s first limited drama series (Ava DuVernay’s "Central Park Five") will launch on Netflix in 2019. In 2012, he launched Participant’s efforts into making films in Latin America which has produced "No, Neruda," "A Fantastic Woman" and "Roma" which we are showcasing this Thursday at a special screening for KCET’s Cinema Series members.

His distinct expertise as a director of photography was initially inspired by his family and formative years living in Texas, as well as his official introduction into the world of filmmaking at his undergraduate alma mater Texas Christian University. After TCU sparked Grady’s passion, he eagerly continued honing his skills as a cinematographer, attending graduate school at the University of North Texas, followed by a degree from New York University and completing his formal film education at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.

Editor Michelle Tesoro has work that includes a variety of television projects such as Netflix’s Emmy®-nominated series "Godless," the Golden Globe®-nominated show "House of Cards," HBO’s series "Newsroom," as well as features like "Bold Films" and Participant Media’s "Shot Caller," starring Nikolaj Coster- Waldau.
