To celebrate the U.S. television broadcast premiere of PRISONERS OF WAR, the program upon which "Homeland" is based, KCETLink Media Group and The Jewish Federation hosted an exclusive screening event on Thurs., Oct. 13, 2016, at the Skirball Cultural Center with a reception and screening of the Israeli series. Following the screening of the first episode there was a panel discussion with Hollywood leaders curated by The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles to discuss the thriving International Television Market and the evolution of Israeli content in Hollywood. A special VIP tour of the recently opened Lichtenstein exhibit at the Skirball kicked off the evening. Attendees included Avital On-Sachar, VP Business Affairs, Keshet Studios; Jay Sanderson, President & CEO, The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles; Michael Riley, President & CEO, KCETLink Media Group; Noa Tishby, Actress/Producer; and Lorraine Hess, KCETLink Media Group, VP of Program Acquisitions/Consultant and Adam Berkowitz, Co-Head of Television, CAA.
