'The Art of Racing In The Rain' Closes the 2019 KCET Summer Cinema Series
Following a screening of "The Art of Racing In The Rain," producer Neal H. Moritz attended a Q&A hosted by Cinema Series host Pete Hammond. Based on The New York Times bestselling novel by American author, playwright and film producer Garth Stein, this heart-warming film is the story of Enzo (the voice of Kevin Costner), a race car-obsessed dog who believes he will be reincarnated as a human. While his owner Denny Swift (Milo Ventimiglia) teaches him about auto racing and human relationships, most of Enzo's ideas and knowledge come from watching television. Amanda Seyfried ("Mama Mia! Here We Go Again") also stars.
Neal H. Moritz is the founder of Original Film and one of the most prolific producers in Hollywood today. Best known for the "Fast & Furious" films, including "Furious 7," which broke multiple box office records to become the sixth highest grossing movie of all time, Moritz has produced over 50 major motion pictures, which have earned a total of over $10 billion worldwide.
