The Migrant Kitchen Premiere Screening Event

To celebrate the television broadcast special premiere of THE MIGRANT KITCHEN, KCETLink Media Group and Life & Thyme hosted an exclusive screening event on Oct. 11, 2016 at Chinatown's restaurant incubating space called Unit 120 from Chef Alvin Cailan (Eggslut, Amboy) and complimentary beverages courtesy of San Antonio Winery. Guests included a variety of Chefs from the series including Chef Michael Cimarusti with light bites provied by Chefs Chad and Chase Valencia, Isa Fabro, and Charles Olalia. THE MIGRANT KITCHEN explores Los Angeles’ booming food scene through the eyes of a new generation of chefs whose cuisine is inspired by the immigrant experience. Visit the kitchens of those who have transformed the culinary landscape of the city, combining traditional ethnic cuisines and a fusion of new flavors and techniques to make Los Angeles one of the food capitals of the world.
