It's Donut Week on 'Visiting With Huell Howser'
Monday @ 7:30PM -- "Sparkletts"
Americans drink 4.4 billion gallons of bottled water a year. In Los Angeles, the company that quenches many of our thirsts is Sparkletts. Sparkletts, which was created in 1925, sold one million bottles of water within its first three years. Huell tours one of its plants to lean about the source of their success.
Tuesday @ 7:30PM -- "Water Car"
Imagine sitting by the lake on a hot day and watching a car drive into the water and motor away. Well, that's just what piqued Huell's interest. Terry Tates inherited the Amphibious Car from his parents, who bought it in the early 60s. Huell goes to Lake Castaic for the ride of his life.
Wednesday @ 7:30PM -- "Donuts"
HFor almost 40 years, Stan's Corner Doughnut Shop of Westwood, Calif. has baked the world's most gourmet donuts. From a cinnamon chocolate cheese danish to a Reese's peanut butter pocket with fresh banana, Stan's offers pastries you won't find anywhere else in the world. Huell spends the morning doing "research" at this Los Angeles landmark.
Thursday @ 7:30PM -- "Donut Man"
At Donut Man, people aren't salivating over just jelly donuts and crullers, but owner Jim Nakano's specialty -- the strawberry donut. Only available for a few months in the spring, these sweets are piled high with fresh, locally grown strawberries and Jim's signature glaze. Costumers come in and out of the Donut Man in Glendora 24 hours day.

Saturday @ 5:00PM -- "Museums"
Huell revisits two older episodes. First up is a trip to Los Angeles' Grier Musser Museum, a turn-of-the century historic Queen Anne house with fascinating antique collections. Huell then stops by the Historical Glass Museum in Redlands.
