KCET Schedule Changes: Huell Howser, Rick Steves, Doc Martin, Father Brown Get New Airtimes

New year, new broadcast schedule.

As you set your mid-season TV viewing plan (or DVR), keep in mind that KCET will be overhauling its weekly schedule beginning in January. You can now embark on adventure with Huell Howser seven nights a week at 7 p.m. (beginning Saturday, January 3) and travel throughout Europe with Rick Steves each weekday at 7:30 p.m.

Here KCET's primetime schedule, beginning January 5.

Scott & Bailey at 9 p.m.

The Tuesday night block consists of KCET original programs, with a focus on arts and culture.

Jonathan Bird's Blue World at 10:30 p.m.


The Huell Howser documentary "A Golden State of Mind" will re-air on Wednesday, January 7 at 8 p.m. to commemorate the two-year anniversary of Howser's death.

The U.S. premiere of the critically-acclaimed three-part docudrama "Burning Bush" will air Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. on January 14, 21, and 28.
