The holiday season has returned, and that means holiday celebrations on KCET!

Highlighting the seasonal programming line-up is the return of Chapman University’s Annual Holiday Wassail Concert (Monday, December 24 at 8:00 p.m.) The special features the Chapman University Singers, the Chapman University Choir and Women’s Choir along with spectacular music by The Chapman Orchestra.

California’s Gold - Holiday Classic: Tuba Christmas Sun., Dec. 23, 6:00 p.m.

Huell attends an annual holiday concert of traditional songs performed by hundreds of tubas. Tuba Christmas was conceived in 1974 as a tribute to the late artist/teacher William J. Bell, born on Christmas Day in 1902.

Upland was hard hit by the 2003 wildfires. That following holiday season, this tight-knit community joined together to recreate a brilliantly lit star on a hilltop which shined for many years.

The one-hour music special "Happy Holidays with the Boston Pops" showcases the best of the New England holiday season with the Boston Pops and Tanglewood Festival Chorus, under the direction of Keith Lockhart, performing beloved classics.

Jordan Smith, season nine winner of NBC's "The Voice," stars in his very first one-hour concert program. Taped on the Evergreen Stage at Diadan Studios, the special spotlights music from Jordan's Christmas album "'Tis the Season," and features special guest David Foster, the legendary composer, songwriter and producer.

Festival of Carols With Sylvia McNair Mon., Dec. 24, 11:00 p.m.

Grammy-winning soprano Sylvia McNair joins the 150-voice Indianapolis Symphonic Choir and the Chamber Orchestra at The Palladium at The Center for The Performing Arts for the 25th anniversary of the holiday favorite.
