Hangmen Also Die — Feb. 10

This noir espionage thriller set in occupied Czechoslovakia revolves around the successful plot by the Czech Resistance to assassinate Deputy Reich-Protector "Hangman" Reinhard Heydrich, and the hunt by the Gestapo to track down the killers.     

The Lady — Feb. 17

The story of Aung San Suu Kyi as she becomes the core of Burma's democracy movement, and her relationship with her husband, writer Michael Aris.      

Fire Over England — Feb. 24

During the reign of England's Queen Elizabeth I, a young naval officer spies on the Spanish and discovers their plans to send the Armada against England.

Documentaries

Trials of Muhammad Ali — Feb. 1

This film covers the explosive crossroads of Ali’s life. When Cassius Clay becomes Muhammad Ali, his conversion to Islam and refusal to serve in the Vietnam War leave him banned from boxing and facing a five-year prison sentence.

Black Ballerina — Feb. 8

"Black Ballerina" is a story of passion, opportunity, heartbreak and triumph of the human spirit. Set in the over- whelmingly white world of classical dance, it tells the stories of several black women from different generations who fell in love with ballet.

Duty of the Hour: Dr. Benjamin Hooks —  Feb. 8

The story of Dr. Ben Hooks is an exploration of this nation's long, complex, and difficult history of race in America,  looking at Benjamin L. Hooks' rise from the streets of segregated Memphis to the national stage.

Black Women in Medicine — Feb. 12

"Black Women in Medicine" honors black female doctors around the country who work diligently in all facets of medicine, through first-hand accounts from a cross-selection of black female pioneers in medicine and healthcare.

Harvest of Empire — Feb. 22

This is a powerful documentary that exposes the direct connection between the long history of U.S. intervention in Latin America and the immigration crisis we face today.

American Jihadist — Streaming Now

What social, economic and political environments create the mindset of a Jihadist, especially an American one? "American Jihadist" is a look at militant Islam through the eyes of an American who fought for it.

Everything’s Cool — Streaming Now
