Monday - Dec. 5, 7:30pm: Squeegee - The squeegee was such a simple invention, but like Kleenex and Jell-O, its name has become synonymous with all rubber-bladed window cleaners. Join Huell Howser as he visits the Ettore Corporation in Oakland to learn first-hand about squeegees developed in 1936 by Ettore Steccone.

Tuesday - Dec. 6, 7:30pm: Egg Nog Update - One of our more popular shows was about Broguiere's Dairy. When we had our first visit, Huell found out that they make a really good eggnog and the family invited him to come back during the holiday season. Well Huell went back and got a first hand look at how this wonderful drink is made.

Visiting...With Huell Howser #804 - EGGNOG UPDATE

Wednesday - Dec. 7, 7:30pm: Underground Old Sacramento - Sacramento has a unique feature that many residents are unaware of: a city underneath a city. Huell Howser goes below the city of Sacramento to explore the remaining historic sidewalks, doorways and building relics that were all part of the original downtown area before flooding moved the entire city upstairs one level. Huell gets a special tour of this restricted and mysterious area.

Huell Howser! Old Sacramento Salt Water

Thursday - Dec. 8, 7:30pm: Songbird of Manzanar - During the years of the detainment in Manzanar War Relocation Center, one of ten camps at which Japanese American citizens and resident Japanese aliens were interned during World War II, music provided a rare solace for the internees. Huell visits with Mary Kageyama Nomura known as the "Songbird of Manzanar" who performed there as a teenager.

Friday - Dec. 9, 7:30pm: Folk Music Center - It began in 1958 in the back room of Boots Beer's Real Estate Office with a couple of old records and some instruments. Almost fifty years later it has become one of the countries premier folk music destinations. Filled with instruments from al over the world and staffed by wonderful people who really know their music, the Folk Music Center is a wonderful place to loose yourself. Huell gets a very special tour from the family that still owns the center

Saturday - Dec. 10, 7:00pm: Historic Horses - Enjoy one of California's oldest and exciting traditions at the W. K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center at Cal Poly Pomona where, for over 60 years, monthly horse shows feature beautiful, pure-bred Arabian horses. Then hit the trail and trace the history of the Pony Express riders at the annual Pony Express Re-run in Sacramento as present-day riders re-enact this bit of Old West experience.

Saturday - Dec. 10, 7:30pm: Wild Horse Sanctuary - Huell visits the Wild Horse Sanctuary in Shingletown.

Sunday - Dec. 11, 7:00pm: Galco's - Huell first met John back in 2000 when he did a program about the over 250 different vintage soda pops he sold in his store. In this special update we'll discover that not only has his inventory of vintage sodas doubled in size, but he's also added shelves of classic candy bars! The real joy of the story however, is finding out how his family has changed and grown since the first visit.
