What's a week without the continued adventures of KCET's Golden State-trotting hero, Huell Howser? It's like a summer without sunshine, that's what. This week, Huell covers all corners of California, from San Diego to Amador to Orange to Idyllwild.

Monday, July 16 @ 7:30 PM -- "Amador County Fair"

There's a lot to be learned about this rural NorCal county, from the indigenous Miwok Native Americans to the agricultural industry that still goes on today. But can we be honest here? Because the aspect of the fair that we're most stoked about is the daily tractor parade. That's a Daily. Tractor. Parade.

Tuesday, July 17 @ 7:30 PM -- "On Stage"

It's a twofer tonight, with half the episode taking place at the Orange County Pageant of the Masters, which KCET's Artbound recently profiled. The other half focuses on San Diego's Spreckles Organ, the world's largest outdoor organ. That's musical organ, of course.

Hear how the Spreckels Organ can make patriotic hymns sound creepy:

Wednesday, July 18 @ 7:30 PM -- "Lemon Lily Festival"

What's a lemon lily? It's a beautiful chartreuse flower that only grows at elevations of 4,000 feet or higher and that is also the focus of an annual festival in Idyllwild. Will Huell get to see one in this episode? Well, it would certainly be anticlimactic if he didn't, wouldn't it?

Watch a preview:

Thursday, July 19 @ 7:30 PM -- "Cabrillo's Ship"

Did you know that historians are currently constructing a replica of San Salvador, the 100-foot galleon that Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo sailed to Catalina Island in 1542? And that, when completed, this San Salvador 2.0 will actually be sailed up and down the California coast? Huell pops in to see the work in progress.

Check out another take on the ship's progress:

Friday, July 20 @ 7:30 PM -- "Pear Fair"

Pear ice cream? Check. Pear vinegar? Check. An overview of century-old Sacramento pear-farming? Check. If you feel strong emotions about pears and Huell Howser, this is probably as close to a perfect episode as you're ever going to get.
